About The Indian Springs Golf and Country Club Neighborhood
Indian Springs Golf and Country club in central Indio, is one of our valley’s best kept secrets. Originally developed on the site of the 1962 golf course named Indian Springs Golf Course, the course was completely rejuvenated and re-designed in 2000. Two years later, in 2002, a master planned home community was begun and built out by 2005.
Indian Springs Golf and Country Club is a highly rated Public course. The new Clubhouse (added in 2008) sits on an elevated site offering spectacular fairway and lake views. The course itself is a full 18 holes with beautifully manicured greens and reasonable playing fees which are offered both daily and annually. Annual Golf Passes were offered recently for as little as $5,000 for individuals and $7,500 for families.
Real Estate Opportunities
Indian Springs offers single family residences at very reasonable prices. Because they are relatively new, the homes were hit pretty hard with the decline in market values and it is a fantastic time to purchase a golf course home at this club. 720 Homes were built on the course between 2002 and 2005. These homes range in size from approx. 1500 sf to approx. 4300 sf, and are located both on the course and off. Floor plans have from two to four bedrooms, and there are some two story floor plans in the mix as well.
The entry to Indian Springs is on BOTH sides of Jefferson St. The homes were built on both the East and West side and therefore there are two separate entry gates depending on which side you live. This makes it both unique and also means there is normally only a very short wait time for entry for visitors or day golfers.
