Eldorado Country Club is the ultimate in “behind the gates” luxury and golf, with its dramatic setting nestled in a picturesque cove at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The Club’s 18-hole regulation length golf course was designed by Lawrence Hughes in 1957 and redesigned in 2003 by Tom Fazio. Its medium-length layout features 5 sets of tee boxes for the enjoyment of golfers at all skill levels.
Private luxury custom homes abound in this premier member-only country club. The Cottages at Eldorado are individually owned by members and accommodations are available only to members and their sponsored guests. President Eisenhower owned a Cottage at Eldorado and spent his winters there. In fact, the tall, picturesque mountain in full view of the Club is named Eisenhower Mountain.
Eldorado’s amenities include two swimming pools, tennis, golf and fine dining. The Clubhouse, Snack Bar and Fitness Center are luxuriously appointed for members use and enjoyment.
Eldorado is conveniently located in the central Palm Springs Valley. To the West is Palm Desert’s very own “Rodeo Drive” – El Paseo, where fine dining, upscale shopping and entertainment abound.
